It’s the band that was formed in 2010, the band that plays guitar music, the band by Heta Bilaletd, Jonna Karanka and Katri Sipiläinen – the band called Olimpia splendid! Someone has said about it: This time last year I was at a festival in Finland watching an utterly compelling local band called Olimpia Splendid. They had tiny amps, looked half starved and penniless. They padded around each other like territorial feral cats, seemingly oblivious to their audience... and made a gorgeous cacophony.
