-Where are you hand?
Käsi is an improvisational piece by two performers which
plays
asks
sees
feels
gropes
goes where the mind does
Käsi deals with the hands, gestures and other parts of the body. The performance reaches out toward boundary experiences of the body, language and thinking. It focuses on the processes of emergence, densification, and thinning of meanings and associations.
The performance is a part of Katariina Numminen's dissertation work on artistic research, which deals with the relationship between dramaturgy and play, as well as pause, interruption, gesture and repetition as dramaturgical phenomena.
Performers: Hanna Ahti, Laura Rämä

The performance is supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation, Taike, and the University of the Arts Helsinki Theater Academy.
